Arpligner
A downloadable Arpligner for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Arpligner is a multi-track & polyphonic arpeggiator which will use your own arpeggiation patterns in the form of live MIDI notes. It is packaged as VST3 & LV2 MIDI plugins and as a standalone application.
- Multi-track: Multiple arpeggiation patterns can play at the same time for a given chord, each one in its own track of your DAW, or on its own MIDI channel,
- Polyphonic: Each step can play several notes of a chord at the same time. "Steps" can also hold over an arbitrary length of time and overlap. So besides arpeggiation per se, you can do strumming or really any kind of "turning a plain block chord into something more interesting".
See the full documentation on the Github page.
Since I cannot test all possible user configurations (especially some users reported issues on recent OSX that are difficult for me to investigate), just download it for free first to make sure it works for you, and then you can come back later if you want to make a donation :), this is an open-source project anyway. Please post issues here in case of bugs or questions, or get in touch on the Matrix chat #arpligner:gitter.im :)

This is supercool and super useful! For such a long time I fantasized how cool would be if there was a plugin that did what this one does, without actually thinking it was possible. Then one day I found it, and it's even better than I imagined!
I'm on mac Sequoia, and had some security bullsh## issues, but asked Chatgpt how to solve them and did it easily.
This should be known for every music creator in the world! I can't believe I'm writing the first comment two years later than it was build. I'll spread the word!
Thank you!
You're very welcome :) Thanks for this! I'm glad other people find it useful, I too was bothered by this, because for me it was just something that _had_ to exist ^^.
If you have time, could you open an issue or discussion on the Github project page to tell what you had to do to get it working? I'm not using OSX and this maybe could help other users.
